Discover a world of creativity, exploring skills in art or language in Washington DC!

We offer two types of programs: Art programs and Russian Language programs.

Art:

We promote independent thought, discovery, and imagination.

We work with watercolors, tempera, acrylic, different types of clay, paper, card boards, plastic, and fabrics. All materials are child safe and nature friendly.

We paint on many types of paper, cardboard, wood, and canvas.

Russian Language:

We aim to raise happy, thriving children while nurturing their Russian language skills in a creative, engaging environment.

As a small school, we build our relationships with students based on their personal qualities, talents, and individual characteristics.

As a new school – we are dynamic. We are constantly looking for new, creative ways to educate children.

As a growing school – we are full of energy, ideas, and plans for the future!

Families are joining Blue Giraffe from Washington D.C., Virginia, and Maryland areas.

Different families celebrate different holidays but every one of our students knows about Ded Moroz and elka!

Only a few of our students have experienced visits from the Tooth Fairy.

During summer time our students visit about 15 to 20 different countries.

100% of our students fluently speak their mom’s language (if it different from dad’s language and not English), and only 24% fluently speak their father’s language (if it different from mom’s language and not English)

The teaching team collectively has accrued more than 100 years of experience in education!!!

We also speak: Russian, English, German, Spanish, Hebrew, Japanese, Uzbek, Tajik, Armenian, Ukrainian, Polish and Czech.

We are very proud of such a talented and full of knowledge team.

We work with kids because we love it!
